**ENGLISH**
This spacious and bright houseboat offers the perfect opportunity to live detached and unique. The houseboat has the feel of a loft with its characteristic appearance and many windows.
Houseboat ‘Generaal Praag’, with a total living area of 260 m2 (total surface area of 300 m2), has two lovely sunny terraces totaling 28 m2 and an inner garden of 36 m2.
The house is finished with different high-quality types of wood and is optimally insulated. The high ceiling of 4.5 meters in the loft and the many skylights make the house very spacious and provide abundant light.
The terrace on the deck is located on the south and offers an unobstructed view of the Amstel River. From sunrise to early evening, the terrace receives sunlight, making it the ideal place for hosting a dinner or drinks. From the bow, there is a view of the Amstel River and Theater Carré. Both terraces offer a lot of privacy due to their elevated position.
The inner garden creates an oasis of peace. The beautiful space can serve as a garden in the summer and a cozy conservatory in the winter.
There are two individual entrances on the bow and stern. This makes the house ideal for working from home or for double occupancy. It is also very suitable for children who live or study at home, due to the various high schools and universities close by. With the bright spaces and separate units, there is also the possibility of using it as a studio or a bed and breakfast.
The inner garden connects the houseboat to the following areas:
•Through the entrance in the wheelhouse, you can reach the spacious and sunny dining kitchen of the main living area. The French doors in the kitchen provide access to the rear deck. There is a large storage room located underneath the kitchen. Furthermore, the stairs in the kitchen lead to the living room (3.2 meters in height), master bedroom, and bathroom, with French doors opening to the patio.
•Through the entrance on the bow, you can reach the second living area. This area consists of a spacious split-level living room, three bedrooms with three adjoining bathrooms, and a laundry room.
Located on the edge of the De Pijp in the beautiful Amstel River area. De Pijp has a lot to offer with many facilities such as shops, culture, schools, and restaurants. Within walking distance of Weesperzijde, Albert Cuyp market, and Martin Luther King Park. Amstel Station is a 5-minute bike ride away and offers a good connection to, among others, Schiphol Airport.
