Stunning villa located between the Mediterranean and the Verdon, nestled in the heart of a protected natural area, just 2 km from the village center. Nice Airport is a 1.5-hour drive away and Draguignan, with its TGV station, is only 30 minutes away.
A small path winds through a valley classified as a protected natural area, leading to the entrance of the house, situated at the end of the path.
From east to west, the panorama offers breathtaking views of the hills.
The house’s design harmoniously follows the natural slope of the hill, with its foundations anchored directly into the rock. Protected at the back by a rocky belt, the villa fully embraces the surrounding panorama.
The villa and the adjoining guest house are designed in a modernist style by architect A. Krikhaar for artist H. Krikhaar, extending over a sunny plot of 1.74 hectares, with approximately 610 m² of single-story living space, as well as a spacious workshop above the garages.
The property emphasizes open volumes and contemporary materials such as steel, concrete, and glass. The entrance provides access to a spacious and bright living room offering views of the various interior and exterior areas. Floor-to-ceiling windows stretch along the entire length of the south facade, creating a seamless transition between spaces and offering breathtaking panoramic views of the outdoors. A large fireplace, covered with dark green Brazilian granite tiles, subtly divides the space between the living room and the office and library area. On the eastern side is a large bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and dressing room. A hallway leads to the back of the house, where a triple garage is located. A staircase leads to the artist’s studio and a mezzanine overlooking the rooftop terrace. To the east, the kitchen opens onto an outdoor terrace, while to the west, a hallway leads to two additional bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, as well as a showroom illuminated by a central skylight. The Roman travertine floors, sliding metal ceilings, and large sandblasted glass doors complete the harmonious design of the entire home.
The guest or caretaker’s house, adjacent to the villa, includes a living room, open kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom, a separate toilet, and a private terrace. The terraced garden slopes down to a beautiful infinity pool with stunning views.
